This year we tried a few different carving techniques.

Hammering a cookie cutter...

And then the way a real man carves a pumpkin, POWER TOOLS!

I don't think Chad will ever go back to the skinny little carving knives.

The girls have already had many opportunities to show off their costumes.

We took advantage of the sunny day today and visited a nearby pumpkin patch.

Then it was home for pumpkin pie milkshakes.

It's about time!

These letters have been sitting, finished I might add, in Leah's closet since her birth. She is now 14 months old. So, it's about time that I displayed them don't you think?!!!

And the fun didn't stop there. I've also had this idea for Leah's room for over a year.

But for now, I am happy with its current look.
