Utah!

This summer we headed down to Park City, UT for our Jergensen Family Reunion.
We had not been back to Utah as a family since we moved in 2004.
So we took a few opportunities in between our activities to visit those we don't get to see as often as we would like. I sure wish we had more time to see all of our friends and family in that area. I'm hoping it won't be another 7 years until we return!
One of our stops was Salt Lake City. My Grandpa and Grandma Moore live right across from Temple square. So we took the girls for a visit and then to see the Temple.
It was wonderful visiting with them, as always. And Leah was happy sitting on her Great Grandma's lap, so that was a plus :) I'm so glad my girls got to spend some time with their Great Grandparents.
It was a beautiful hot day. Something we are not accustom to, hence the red faces :)
We drank a lot of water during the whole trip!
Poor sweet Leah was teething, so her fingers were in her mouth for a majority of the pictures.
Jenna's favorites were the fountains and statues. She would run from one to the next, trying to see how many she could find.
The reflecting pool is always a favorite too.
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Happy Belated Birthday Chad!

It has been a crazy past couple of weeks. I finally have time to share what has been keeping us so busy.
July 1st- Happy Birthday Chad!
The day of we spent packing for our trip to Utah. We had planned on leaving the next day, but Chad decided that it would be fun to drive through the night on his birthday.
I was not a fan but went along. We made it, Chad drove the whole way. It wasn't horrible, but I am still not a fan!

Evening Walks

Leah has graduated to riding piggyback.
She loved every minute of it!
Chad is a good sport for wearing the carrier.
They look so cute together!
I can't believe Leah is almost 11 months.
We just love having her in our family!

First day of Summer

The first day of summer was actually sunny!
So we made sure to take full advantage of it.
We are getting to use our tent pack n play again. I really love this thing, it's shade on the go. Which is greatly needed with a little one :)
The girls had a lot of fun. They play so well together and Jenna loves to help Leah in anyway.

Jenna insisted on having the mesh door closed. It was their own little hideout.
Then Jenna and I played hopscotch. During the summer this tends to be a permanent drawing on the sidewalk.
Hopefully the sun will continue to come out to play!
