The kids play area at Woodland park was a blast! Jenna quickly made friends with some other girls and she was off sliding, climbing, having a great time. And then to top it all off we stopped at Trophy's cupcakes on our way home. I've been hearing how good their cupcakes are and they did not disappoint. We each got a diff. flavor and then shared. Jenna was hilarious eating her chocolate vanilla cupcake. She knows how to savor a cupcake. Licking off all the frosting first, then eating the cake part. Slowly, I might add. The couple sitting next to us was quite entertained.
I truly love my little girl, she makes me laugh everyday!

Hiawatha Bike ride
We have always wanted to ride this trail and finally made it happen. My family has rode it before and loved it and now we do too. The trail is located near Lookout Pass on the ID/Montana border. It use to be a railroad and has since been turned into a bike trail. Some fun facts: it is 14.4 miles long, there are 9 tunnels, and 7 trestles. The longest tunnel is 1.7 miles and the highest trestle is 230 ft. It took us 2 1/2 hrs. to get down. That was with a few stops to read signs or help Jenna :) We all had to wear headlights for the tunnels. The tunnels were the most amazing part. They were completely pitch black except for your little light. It was quite the experience. Jenna had her own little flashlight and loved it. She continued to ask when the next tunnel would be. She did really good on the whole ride. We're thinking we'll have to make this a new family tradition.
If anyone is in the area and wants to check it out we highly recommend it http://www.ridethehiawatha.com/

Ogzewalla Family Reunion
We just got back from my extended family reunion over in Spirit Lake, ID. It was great seeing all of my cousins and their kids! Growing up we would get together every summer at the Lake cabin. But now that most of us are married and having our own children our group is getting quite large :) So the reunion is now every other year. We had a great time. Highlights included: swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, Talent show, Cafe Chulo and Dockside night, late night games, learning how to play dumb Rook, skiing, amazing dinners and treats, Dr. David's Derm services and the Hiawatha bike ride (pics to come). Wheww, did I get it all :)
I really enjoyed watching all of the kids playing together. Jenna sure does miss all of her new friends! Can't wait to do it all again. I wonder how many more will be added to the family by then?
