Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam

This last Sunday was Jenna's first time in Primary! She is now a Sunbeam, where has the time gone? I will admit it made me a little teary eyed seeing her sitting in the kid filled primary room. She looked so little compared to the other big kids. But she is a champ, she was a little shy at first but then sat in her seat gave us a kiss goodbye and said "See you later"! I know she is going to love it.

Our time in CA

We had a lot of fun in CA. It was great spending time with Chad's family. The only one we didn't get to see was Chad's brother Justin and his family (they are in Baltimore). Jenna had a lot of fun with all of her cousins too. They are all really close in age so it is nice to see them play together. Some of the highlights were going to the San Francisco Zoo, Bowling, Jelly Belly Factory, Chuck E. Cheese, going out to dinner with the adults, hot tubing, playing Scum and of course Grandma Lonna's wonderful cooking!
We are excited to see everyone again this summer for the family reunion!

Christmas Day

Here are some highlights from Christmas morning. Jenna woke up around 8, which was nice. She was actually pretty mellow until she started opening presents!She was very excited to see that santa had brought her a pink castle! Jenna would open a present and then play with it for awhile before she opened another. We had a very nice morning, and then pack up for our drive to CA. We left that afternoon for Medford, OR. We stayed with Chad's sister and her family that night and then continued on to Fairfield, CA the next day to spend time with the rest of Chad's family.

Christmas Eve

I am going back a bit to fill in the last few weeks, some pics are a bit random:)
The first is Jenna enjoying my Grandma Ogzewallas fudge. If you had never had it you are missing out!
Then the Sunday before Christmas we went to a pre-Christmas eve party with friends. Since most of us were staying home for Chrismtas it was nice to be able to get together and have a delicious meal and let the kids act out the Nativity. Thank you Tylers for hosting such a fun evening!
The rest of the pics are from Christmas eve. We got more snow, and it was the "good" kind. Chad made another snowman, the real way :) Where you make a ball of snow so big that you are barely able to pick it up to stack on top of the others! It was fun to watch. Then we had a yummy ham dinner, followed by our version of the nativity story. Jenna was the angel and we used the figurines from our nativity to tell the story. (What else do you do when you are a family of 3?) After opening the traditional gift of pj's, we put some reindeer food on the porch and milk and cookies for Santa. Jenna said that the oats were for all of the reindeer but the carrot was a special treat for Rudolph!
