"I said 2 minutes!"

I found Jenna putting her stuffed frog in time out this afternoon!! This is what I saw, she was trying to balance the frog on the arm of a chair. The frog would then fall over and she would pick it back up and say "Sit for 2 minutes" putting the frog back on the chair and then when the frog would fall over again, she would say "I said 2 minutes!" She continued saying this to the frog every time it fell off the chair!! It was so funny! Her tone of voice wasn't anger it was more of a I'm the boss, listen to me!! She is turning into quite the sassy little girl!

A girl after my own heart!

Sorry for the nudity, but this was too funny not to share! She kept saying this in between bites of the brownie! and FYI Jenna does not normally run around naked, it was right before bathtime! :)

Note: the coaxing from Chad is due to the fact that whenever we try and video tape Jenna she becomes mute!!

funny questions

Jenna loves to ask questions! Such as "Whats that from?" when she hears an unfamilar sound 0r "Who is that?" when she looks at family pictures. But, the funniest so far was yesterday, Chad came home from work and Jenna walked right up to him and asked "What shows do you like dad?" It was so random, but had us laughing pretty good!

nap time?

Since Jenna has been in her "big girl bed" she has successfully taken 3 naps!! (give or take) I am going a little crazy without naptime! So, on the days that she doesn't take a nap, it has turned into movie time! She loves to watch t.v. and we have all the Disney movies so I thought why not?!! Mon. was Peter Pan and Tues. was Cinderella!! This way I can still get things done around the house! :) It might sound horrible but it is keeping me sane!! I also have to confess that I love to sing along to all of the fun songs! Its amazing how the words just come right back to you!:)
However, today Jenna is taking a nap!! Hooray!!!!!! It was a fight, but after her many successful attempts at opening the door (with the door knob cover on) and sneaking up the stairs!! She finally gave up and fell asleep!
Does naptime really have to be this hard?!! :)

Big girl bed

On New Years eve Jenna figured out how to climb out of her crib! I guess I should be glad that we have made it this long with her still in a crib, but I was really hoping it would last a little longer! So, on New Years day we put in a toddler bed and got some fun new princess bedding for her! We refer to her bed as her new big girl bed! Now when Jenna gets into bed she says, "ooh new bed!" Since, then nap time has been a struggle! We are going on day 3 of no naptime! I am not giving up on naps though, I don't know if I can! Not yet, anyways!! Here is a picture of Jenna the first night sleeping in her big girl bed! She has her bears pink glasses on over her own glasses, so it looks a little silly!
