After a rough first three nights in the house, Jenna is now loving her new room and house! On the second morning of staying in the house, Jenna woke up crying. There was nothing I could do to console her. Finally she said to me "Can we go home?"!! It broke my heart, I told her that this was our new home. With all of our new house rules, I think it was getting to be a bit much for her. So, that day we went and got her new ballerina slippers and she has been happy ever since :)
Here is our house! We can't park in the garage just yet, due to boxes!
In this shot you can see the corner that we are on a little better. Our poor grass, it was neglected during the months the house was on the market. Turns out, it use to be the best yard in the neighborhood, the previous owner was always out working in the yard. So we have a lot to live up to!! Yesterday Chad went and got some fertilizer and is working on reviving the grass!
This park is just across the street from us. I took the pic from our driveway. It makes up for not having a large backyard! Also, behind the house across the street is the elementary school that Jenna will be attending! I am really loving the location! I will post more pics of the inside of the house next week. We have some projects planned for this week so I will post before and after shots!
